Halloween-The Avatar Gang

I promised the girls I would make them bending costumes for Halloween before I realized it would fall on a Sunday. The costumes were way too much work to just be worn once to our church party, but, luckily, Sage had a school party. Also, they have wanted to wear the costumes every day since.

Halloween-Aang

made from Kona cotton, Scientific Seamstress Easy Fit Pants pattern, and own designs

Halloween-Toph

made from Kona cotton, Scientific Seamstress Easy Fit Pants pattern (shortened and added elastic hem), Habitual Kimono tutorial, and Little Lizard King Vest pattern (unlined, lengthened, added collar, extended center placket, and left side seams unconnected); accessories from own design

Halloween-Katara

Ruffle Dress Pattern Test for Little Lizard King

really cute result; made from seersucker yardage

Vest Pattern Test for Little Lizard King

very simple pattern; made of bandannas, part of an old sheet (I ran out of bandannas), and pearl buttons; for Sage's Red Ribbon Week--Western Day

Jegging Pattern Test for Dear My Kids

very well done pattern; made of thick tubular double knit yardage; size 7 was a little large for Sage, even thought that's where her measurements put her

Legging Pattern Test for Whimsy Couture

great pattern; very similar to LBB leggings; made of knit yardage

upcycled pocket t-shirt
